  1. Is this side table a standing desk?\r\n

    Yes and no. Because this side table is fixed at a height of 42\" (including a 1\" thick desktop), it can be used as a personal standing desk for short periods of time. But it's important to note that it is set at a fixed height and does not move up and down. Why do we recommend it for only short periods of use? A mix of sitting and standing is better for your body than sitting or standing all day long. You simply can’t stand all day without getting tired feet and maybe a sore back. Alternate between sitting and standing for optimal results. You can however use a bar stool type chair with this desk and sit and stand throughout the day. But note that this still isn’t as good as an electric adjustable standing desk because you can’t micro adjust the desk height to achieve the perfect seated and perfect standing height for the specific task you’re working on at the time.
