  1. Can the platform be used on the ground without the base?\r\n

    Yes, the height would be 1\" at the front of the platform and 3\" at the back of the platform from the ground. But be aware the prongs to hold the platform in the handle frame will protrude from the back of the platform and could catch on cables, etc. We provide plastic caps to go over the prongs when the platform is not used in the frame.

  2. Can I use the footrest while standing at my desk as well?\r\n

    Absolutely, yes! We recommend using the Elevate Footrest while sitting and standing at your desk. While standing, the footrest gives you a place to prop your feet one at a time and help you shift your weight. It's easy to move and adjust the height of the platform to fit how you need to use it.

  3. How is the Footrest adjustable?\r\n

    The height of the Elevate Footrest's platform can be adjusted to six preset heights: 3.5\", 4.5\", 5.5\", 6.5\", 7.5\", 8.5\" (from the floor to the front edge of the platform). Just tip the platform up to disengage the prongs from the handle frame and then reinsert them into another position. If the platform is placed directly on the floor, the front edge is 1\" from the floor.

  4. Can I change the angle of the platform?\r\n

    No, the angle is fixed at 12 degrees, but if you need a footrest that allows you to change the angle of the platform, check out the E3 Adjustable Footrest.

  5. Can I use this as a step stool?\r\n

    No, the Elevate Footrest can only support up to 55 pounds and was not designed to hold your full weight.

    If your office chair is too tall to allow your feet to sit flat on the floor, you would benefit from a footrest. A footrest can also provide a place for restless feet to move and play.     Yes, you can use it barefoot, with shoes, or even high heels. However, the angle of your feet with heels may not be ideal unless you keep the heels off of the front edge of the platform.

    That can mean many things, among them that you are too petite for your chair or your chair is too tall for your body type. Make up the difference by supporting your feet with the Elevate Footrest.
